Navigating a Web of Legal and Commercial Issues

YTM prides itself in providing a welcoming and safe community for business owners and professionals to come together for conversations, connections and insights without the pressure of a strict and repetitive agenda.  The different formats provide an effective structure that  encourages authentic  conversations and generates leads and opportunities for those that invest the time in relationships, over transactions.

To participate in a YTM event, you do not have to be a Member, however, we know that by investing time and consistency in attending the same event, you are able to create the relationships overtime that you need.

So this year, I would like to connect you with our Members.  I would like to introduce you to Ronen Atzmon.  I first met Ronen when we were both members of a BNI Chapter in Brighton and over the past 7 years, I can confidently say, we have both benefited from our relationship in the four key categories I talk of often- supplier, client, referrer and friend.

I asked Ronen the following questions, so that you  can  learn a little about this valued Member of YTM Business Networking, who has consistently attended since we started the events in 2013.

What’s your business name and how did you come up with that?  How do you help others?

My business is called Atzmon & Co Solicitors.  I utilize my years of experience in a complex legal environment  across the board and assist small to medium enterprises to achieve compliance and legal protection.

“Why” do you do what you do ? What made you start your own business?

I do what I do because I enjoy helping businesses overcome the complex and bureaucratic regulatory and legal framework in Australia.

I started my own business after years in corporate and boutique law firm because I realised that small to medium enterprises encounter the same complex legal questions that large enterprises encounter only they do not have access to the same knowledge base and resources.

I am sure there are things that really give you a “buzz” about your business.  Could you share 2 or three things with us?

What gives me a buzz in my business is to assist a business to navigate through a web of legal and commercial issues only to see the business succeeding in its plans and implementing that which they set out to implement.

It also gives me a buzz to meet with business owners who encountered some legal issues which they consider as major stumbling block in their business and after meeting with them and explaining to them the legal issues in plain language, the look on their faces and the relief that they understand what the issues are and how we can resolve them.

As you know at Your Time Matters, we believe conversations,  connections and knowledge enrich lives, personally and professionally and  can impact on the lives of  others, helping them learn, grow and achieve what matters to them.  What impact would  you like your business to make?

I would like to make complex things simple, inaccessible path accessible and negative impact into positive outcome.

In 3 years time, where would you like to see your business?

Growing organically and benefiting from the wonderful world of referrals.

Can you give us one tip on how to manage your time as a busy business professional?

Time allocation - Allocate priorities and adhere to your allocation.  During the day, engage firstly with essential income producing activities.  Allocate time to other tasks which are not income producing but nevertheless important.  Allocate weekly time to work on your business and not in the business.  Ensure trivial activities are curtailed.

How have you benefited from being part of the YTM community?

I have met likeminded business people who want to share their resources and meet a need in the market and together we can assist each other.

Please share your favourite quote with us about time or business .
