Meet Neil Milton

This in-person event is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals in a relaxed setting. Enjoy conversations over dinner, make connections while prompting thinking and encouraging friendly debate.

  • Special Highlights:
Enjoy the conversation between Kerryn Powell and our Guest Speaker :

Neil Milton - is on a mission to change the world to create a safer, more connected world.

Having navigated personal adversity, Neil now leads as General Manager of ChildSafe Australia, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to harm prevention and ensuring safer environments for children. His work influences not only policies and practices but the lives of countless families, professionals and children across Australia.

But Neil's vision doesn’t stop there. He is also the Founder of The Table Talk Project, an evidence-based mental health and wellbeing initiative empowering families to engage in open, meaningful conversations. It’s in these conversations—around the dinner table, at home, in safe spaces—where Neil believes true leadership begins.

    He says:

“The best place to practise being a good leader is at home—with the people who love you, no matter what. That’s where courage and empathy are tested and strengthened.”

Neil challenges the traditional leadership narrative. He believes that real strength lies not in always having the answers, but in the willingness to be vulnerable, to lead with empathy, and to truly listen.

As leaders—whether in our families, businesses or communities—Neil invites us to live the culture we wish to build. He reminds us that giving others a voice, and validating it, is not just leadership—it’s legacy.

Neil has also been a Guest on the Spotify podcast Conversations and Connections where he talks with our founder, Kerryn Powell LISTEN HERE

CHECK OUT PAST DINNERS & SEE WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

YTM was the first networking event I attended two years ago when I started on the journey of business ownership. I was warmly welcomed by Leigh and Kerryn, and connected with a group of interesting and intelligent business people. Now two years on I haven’t missed one, and after experiencing several other networking groups I can’t recommend YTM enough. It is by far the most well run format and allows time to really get to know other business owners, delve deep and to form real and lasting connections. My confidence has grown and I am able to practice communicating my value to others in a safe and welcoming environment.
